What is PREGABLIN 300MG

Pregabalin was originally FDA-approved in 2004 as an anti-epileptic drug, also called an anticonvulsant. It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures. Pregabalin also affects chemicals in the brain that send pain signals across the nervous system and belongs to the drug class called gabapentinoids. It is a Schedule V controlled substance, the lowest schedule for abuse potential.

Pregabalin helps control partial-onset seizures in people with epilepsy and treats nerve pain conditions. It also alleviates postherpetic neuralgia, neuropathic pain from diabetes or spinal cord injury, and fibromyalgia muscle pain and stiffness.
